"You will have significant experiences. I hope that you will write them down and keep a record of them, that you will read them from time to time and refresh your memory of those meaningful and significant things. Some may be funny. Some may be significant only to you. Some of them may be sacred and quietly beautiful. Some may build one upon another until they represent a lifetime of special experiences. " Gordon B. Our "Holiday"

After Keri's competition we decided to stay in California for a week long "holiday" which included very little TV, computers, and cell phone usage. This was the first time EVER I let the kids skip a whole week of school. (I know. I'm not a very good Mom. But we were already there to begin with.?????) I was a little worried that Grammy and Grampy would think we smelled like fish after the first three days. But this trip we got lucky. No fish smell! (JK LOL) I guess they just love us unconditionally...
We had so much fun spending time with them and exploring Southern California. Here are a few our favorite moments...

THE ANGELS GAME...

A DAY AT THE BEACH...

TWO DAYS AT UNIVERSAL STUDIOS...

THE BUTTERFLY PARK...

THE GETTY VILLA...

Some of our other favorite moments included...
sleeping in, pool time, Ruby's, puzzles, movies, and George.
Thanks Grammy and Grampy! WE LOVE YOU!

National Championship

Last week Keri's cheer team from Macs took first place at the National Competition in Anaheim, California. After months and months of practice her team pulled it together and won by only 1/2 of a point. The competition was so exciting from beginning to end...
GREAT JOB KERI! We are so proud!!!
