"You will have significant experiences. I hope that you will write them down and keep a record of them, that you will read them from time to time and refresh your memory of those meaningful and significant things. Some may be funny. Some may be significant only to you. Some of them may be sacred and quietly beautiful. Some may build one upon another until they represent a lifetime of special experiences. " Gordon B. Favorite Chocolate Recipe

There must be something in the water around here because I have been craving chocolate A LOT!!!!
Joi gave me a starter for friendship bread that she brought back with her from Pennsylvania. (Which I hope to share very soon...) And while it was really good, nothing can compare to her Cherry Chocolate Cake.

So here's the recipe:

1 Duncan Hines Devils Food Cake Mix
1 large can cherry pie filling
1/4 tsp. almond extract (optional)

Follow directions on box, omitting water and adding cherry pie filling. Bake as directed in 13x9 pan. Test with toothpick for doneness. (May take longer than estimated time on box.) Frost with chocolate frosting or dust with powdered sugar.

You'll be hooked!!!
