"You will have significant experiences. I hope that you will write them down and keep a record of them, that you will read them from time to time and refresh your memory of those meaningful and significant things. Some may be funny. Some may be significant only to you. Some of them may be sacred and quietly beautiful. Some may build one upon another until they represent a lifetime of special experiences. " Gordon B. Gary Pelkofsky

It is with a heavy heart that I post this blog tonite...
Earlier today my amazing Uncle passed away at the age of 52. A few weeks ago he went in for a simple knee surgery and there were some complications.
Usually I am full of words and things to say. But tonite those words have escaped me. Once again I am reminded of just how precious and fragile our life here on earth truly is. I have spent the last couple of hours looking through photographs and reminiscing of days gone by. And while my heart is breaking, I am deeply grateful for the time I have spent with him and for the wonderful things he has taught me and my family. His life was a gift and a blessing to us all. He will be missed tremendously.
We love you Gary!!! May you fly with the angels!!!
