"You will have significant experiences. I hope that you will write them down and keep a record of them, that you will read them from time to time and refresh your memory of those meaningful and significant things. Some may be funny. Some may be significant only to you. Some of them may be sacred and quietly beautiful. Some may build one upon another until they represent a lifetime of special experiences. " Gordon B. Favorite Talk of Conference

This conference was wonderful! I loved it all!! Usually there are only one or two speakers that truly touch my Spirit and inspire me to become a better person. But this conference I listened and embraced it all. Perhaps it is because I was open and ready to receive the word. Either way, I am grateful for the messages that were given.
My favorite talk was by Dieter Uchtdorf. During his talk he spoke of becoming true disciples of Christ. So often I become comfortable in being a spectator of anything and everything. But Uchtdorf encouraged us to get off the sidelines and practice what we preach. "Knowing the seed is not good enough. We must nourish it.." He also spoke of this life being a race of endurance, not a sprint. "Discipleship is a journey. We need the refining lessons of the journey to craft our character and purify our hearts."
May each of us start today wherever we are and move forward as true disciples of Christ with strength and courage...
