"You will have significant experiences. I hope that you will write them down and keep a record of them, that you will read them from time to time and refresh your memory of those meaningful and significant things. Some may be funny. Some may be significant only to you. Some of them may be sacred and quietly beautiful. Some may build one upon another until they represent a lifetime of special experiences. " Gordon B. Keri's Birthday Party

What A Day! Keri is now 11 years old. To celebrate the big day she invited over 35 of her friends to her party. We played games, opened presents, and had cake. Then Keri gave each of her friends a blanket. Most of them chose to cut or tie the ends. It was so fun to see how creative they got. Wish I had taken more photos. But it was all I could do to keep up with these energetic girls. Wow!

Keri had also asked everyone to bring a donation to the LDS Church Orphanage instead of bringing a birthday gift for her. When the party was over we went through all the donations and organized everything. She filled up her box and then some. I was so amazed at how her friends gave so freely. It will be neat to take her to the Humanitarian Center to drop her box off.
