"You will have significant experiences. I hope that you will write them down and keep a record of them, that you will read them from time to time and refresh your memory of those meaningful and significant things. Some may be funny. Some may be significant only to you. Some of them may be sacred and quietly beautiful. Some may build one upon another until they represent a lifetime of special experiences. " Gordon B. Hinckley, BYU, 2006

A Few of my Favorites...

Just wanted to share a few of my favorite books I've read over the past couple of months...

This one made me really think about how far we've come and how far we still need to go.
Do we have the courage to change the world?

This one made me fall in love with sea turtles.
We always return back to our birthplace. Some sooner than others...

Made me realize what I am really hungry for. Food is not it...

Still reading this one. And loving every minute of it...

Let me know what you think...

I loved the Help! And I read Saving Cee Cee on my last trip and loved that one too. Both books made me laugh and cry. I will have to get to those other two.

I am so glad you share, "you do make a difference",! I think The Help needs a sequel, it felt like the story was not finished to me. I am glad I read these books. Women Food and God..wow 'know thyself comes to mind' and I am complicated lol!! I wish I would have saved -- Saving Cee Cee to read after Sarah's Key. I just now finished and it is way to provocative for me. I think I must reread "Tending Roses" to move past the helplessness I feel. love much
